We will use on-going competition project, taipei Pop Music Center,as springboard for researchi-assisted investigation. Based on the critical discussion about cultural,social,technological,and symbolic,we will study music,media,and connected activities for TPMC in a broad sense,while introducing topics of dynamic urbanism,landscape urbanism,and hybrid/cyber urbanism. Students will ba asked to imagine TPMC as an improvisatory living system predicated upon unexpected plays, sudden activities and changingplans, where in architecture remains no more a constant transforms continually in an erratic,impromptu fashion,fixed and frozen only moentanily, yet never to an absolute end.
